About me
I am a psychologist and a psychotherapist. I have been running a private psychotherapy practice in Wrocław for many years. I work in the field of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
I'm a member of
- Polish Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (Polskie Towarzystwo Psychoterapii Psychoanalitycznej) and
- Polish Psychiatric Association and Scientific Section of Psychotherapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association (Polskie Towarzystwo Psychiatryczne, Sekcja Naukowa Psychoterapii Polskiego Towarzystwa Psychiatrycznego).
I completed master's studies in Psychology at the University of Wrocław, then 4 years of psychotherapeutic training at the Krakow Psychodynamic Center (Krakowskie Centrum Psychodynamiczne). I am currently developing my competences at the Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Warsaw (Instytut Psychoanalizy i Psychoterapii, Warszawa) by participating in training in the field of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
I have extensive clinical and diagnostic experience in working with adults as well as children and adolescents. I worked with patients suffering from profound mental disorders and personality disorders in a psychiatric hospital in Wrocław.
I also gained experience in working with children and adolescents in early intervention teams, kindergartens, educational centers, schools and clinics. I completed training in infant observation using the Esther Bick method at the Polish Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
I have experience in working with groups - I worked as a group psychotherapist, lecturer, trainer, and - experience in working in a multicultural environment - I have provided support to children and adolescents with adaptation problems resulting from culture change.
I work in two languages- Polish and English.
I have been developing my clinical practice since 2004.
